Yeah, I am the humbug, or at least one of probably lots. it’s not that I don’t like christmas. It’s just that Christmas has been hijacked.
Hark the merry cashtills ring
Credit cards for every thing
pure wool skirts we bought at marks
space war toys with flashing sparks.

However I do think that some aspects of christmas are worth keeping and extolling.
- Sharing presents/food/company/warm friendship
- A little reminder of the birth of someone who - whether you like it or not, or believe it or not - has certainly changed the world you are living in.
