Gosh, It’s been quiet here.
So what have I been doing these last months?
- I have played with linux distros on an old laptop.
- I have dreamed of rehousing said laptop in something suitably steampunky
- I have been working.
- I am building a new website: which is not yet online.
- I have been working on colourphon.co.uk which currently means re-factoring the code. (sounds grand but really means fixing my OO naivety!)
- I learnt the rudiments of java in a week for an interview at work.
- Said interview has led to a change of teams which I am really looking forward to.
- I have been twittering more, and blogging way less.
- I have been a patient ear to my dearer half, as she learns the intricacies of BSL
- I have done a few puppet shows.
- I have written a sketch for Gorrilla and security guard.
- I have tidied my room. (You laugh, but I can now see almost half the floor space)
- I have wondered aloud at the state of the nation and as to where respect has gone.
- I have almost been to Burnley.
- I have read lots of books.
- I have planted potatoes.
- I have drunk beer.
- I have made a cardboard column.
- I have de-virused computers for friends.
- I have mown the grass.
- I have finally looked at the shower switch to pronounce it definitely dead.
- I have occasionally watched some Doctor Who out of sequence, and been charmed by the delightfully playful English of Charlie and Lola.
- I have thought that there is probably way more to add to this list… but my finger aches, and I wonder where I find the time to Blog.
- I have made the occasional sarcastic remark, laced with a hint of irony.
