		<description>This is the &#039;Free - as in Beer&#039; &#039;Free as in Kittens&#039;  debate and I agree with you nothing is ever totally free. 

The point I was [breathlessly] making in our march across London was that the only investment you will make to play with the Talis Platform is time.  Also because of the power of the Platform services, and the simplicity of their APIs the amount of that time you invest will be very low.

The follow-up point being that, if you then move from experimentation to a live service, you will have significantly less code to maintain and none of the infrastructure cost that you would have if you build a traditional solution.</description>
