Podcasting’s fatal flaw
One of podcastings fatal flaws for me was knowing that if I sit and listen to an hour of podcast I may have to listen again to pull out a quote, or make notes and miss bits. Or I may not have listened full stop if I didn’t think it was worth it.
Just came accross podzinger which allows you to search full text of podcasts. listen to the result in context or listen to the whole thing. Not only that but my search is RSSable, allowing me to get notification of other podcasts with my search term, as and when they become available.
I wonder if I created my own podcast for dissertaion interview recordings, could podzinger do all the hard work of transcribing? leaving me to do the checking for accuracy and interpretation of the content?
All I need now is an MP3 player!
