Playing with w.blogger
I am just having a play with w.bloggar, and have got it set up fairly painlessly to work with WordPress 1.2, using the MovableType API.
One glitch is when it comes to editing posts. Somewhere the categories are not getting saved correctly. (Possibly not as an integer) So this means that I won’t be using w.Bloggar for editing just now. However there is a new version of bloggar which is said to be included better support for WordPress, so I’m on the lookout.
By the way, searching on google for ‘blog posting clients’ or similar didn’t throw anything up in the way of a nice handy list of all possibilities, so I wonder if there is some trendy name for these things that I haven’t twigged on yet?
And another thing…
The w.bloggar spell check doesn’t recognise blog or google as a word. Curious for a device that is meant for the technically savvy to post to their blogs…
