Dramatic Unfoldings
A restful weekend of activity. If that is not a weird way of putting it
- Christmas dinner on Saturday evening at St Paul’s Community Centre. Very nice. commendations to the chefs!
- Christmas shopping on saturday afternoon, not so nice, as i am a bah-humbugian.
- On sunday we put up a few christmas decorations, and did the spring cleaning. either early or late depending on who we’re telling.
- The oddest moment of all this weekend was when i walked in to the kitchen and the washing machine door fell off. No I didn’t touch it, it was there, attatched to the washing machine in that certain way that only washing machine doors can be attatched, when it fell off. Just fell off. It was one of those moments (Julie was there too) when you can’t quite believe that what you just witnessed was not the result of some peculiar combination of spirity beverages.
- We also did some wrapping of presents, but I can’t tell you about that, as I might give the game away.
